THE IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN

Created as a submission for the Marvel Studios Discord Server's MCU TV Show Pitch Competition in December 2023, for which it won third place.

"The Irredeemable Ant-Man" is a show based on the comic book of the same name by Robert Kirkman and Phil Hester, and pitches how such a morally-grey superhero could fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unlike Scott Lang who audiences know to be a good guy Ant-Man through and through, Eric O'Grady is a real piece of trash. He doesn't do the right thing, he's not a considerate person, and his methods are far from conventional. This would be a black comedy superhero show that leans into what made the comic so great in a live action setting, showing audiences that there's more to Ant-Man than mediocre direction and entomology puns.
